- speaking of "minkya" (which, oddly enough, i heard my father exclaim on several occasions), you need to check out the entry for "the lake" over at boston-online. it's an amazing outpouring of pride and local knowledge. mush.

Thanks for the linkage! Cool music, dude, you should consider playing live in SL:

We need more hiphop!
thanks, hamlet. believe me - i'm considering it. seems like a lot of potential in SL for musicking. i've been fantasizing about an island where all my favorite DJs from around the world could stop in to play some tunes. that'd be a blast. watch out for a riddim method island, if we ever get it together.
amazing stuff. thanks for representing its wonders to all of us in RL.
Ah, you must have some Italian in your roots -- minchia is such a great word, oft-uttered by my parents in fustrating situations.
that's too funny, marco. i did suspect it was more likely italian (thus the molto above) or portuguese - my father's ethnic/linguistic backgrounds - than some strange newtonian form of romany. thanks for the tip! i've found a couple of sites that support your interpretation (knowing the proper spelling was key!):
