I can't quite tell if he's just made a circular scope/volume analyzer. Cool visuals anyway.
according to the video, the system is apparently registering frequency as well as volume - though, yeah, it's not so easy to tell exactly what is going on.
i like the potentials it gestures to, though - both for performance and pedagogy/analysis.
