thanks to alan for continued inspiration. as i've said before, alan ginsburg must not die. fortunately, his words are eternal.
if only we all were so brave as to put our queer shoulders to the wheel (no homo), i think the world would be a better place. (big up to kid k for being explicit about his politics as a DJ: see in particular the note on X13.)
much as i like to fight for truths and rights worldwide, never mind starting from yard: it's clear that america needs to shake its aching pelvis, too. what's the problem, people? or to put it more directly, what's the deal? for real, they only fuckin'.

believe me, i can tek as much as i can dish--and more. but critique is one thing; spewing hate and making threats is another. me nuh rate dat fuckery.
because this conversation was clearly going nowhere and quickly degenerated into a forum for your anonymous threats and insults, i have had to turn off my comments, which is unfortunate for the rest of us.

this is my space for putting my thoughts out there, putting my self out there, raising some questions, and offering up ideas. i am aware of the tensions created by my being an "outsider," an "intellectual," an "academic," an "american," and a "white male"--among other things. i do my best to produce work that reflects on my subject position even as it attempts to speak to things that are not "my own." i've done my homework, dude. i'm not naive. i'm passionate, radical, and generous. if this all makes you uncomfortable, don't read.
